STUDY GROUP
What is a study group?
Its two or more
students who meet with me regularly, e.g. one hour per week,
or just each a exam.
How much does it cost?
$40/hr/student
for two students
$30/hr/student for three students
$25/hr/student for four or more students
What do we do in a study group?
We can work through
practice tests (I have an extensive library), or I can give a
spiel--a concise summary of what you need to know to do well
on the test.
How can I become a part of a study group?
- You can become
a part of a study group by agreeing to meet with other students
you know from class, and/or by posting
on the study group page (see below),
What-do-I-gotta-do to post on the study group page?
1. Click here for the study group page
2. Sign In
(upper left link), so you can change or delete your post at a
later date.
3. Include the
class(es) & professor(s) you want tutoring for.
Note:
Please indicate if you are an FIU student.
4. Include the
times you are free Mon-Fri after 2:00 pm.
5. Don't forget
to include your contact information!
Now what?
Now you create your study
group. First you enlist a classmate or classmates to join your
group and to help you find others to join. You may also wish
to check out the study group page. To select a time when everyone
in your group can meet with me check out: times available to form a study group. Then
please read these terms
and conditions. If they are agreeable to you, then contact me to schedule a time for your
group to meet.
