Who teaches for the MCAT chains? By and large,
students like you.

10:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Classes run from
May
23 - Aug 8.
Class Calender
Extra help
will be made available three times a week from 8:00 PM to 9:30
PM on Mon, Tue, and Wed.
Where?
HOLIDAY INN, adjacent to the University of Miami.
Directions.
What
course materials are used?
It
is not a difficult argument to make that the highest quality materials
are the actual AAMC MCATs (i.e.
previously administered MCATs). In-house materials produced by
the prep chains do not measure up to this standard. That's why
we use six AAMC practice tests, instead of simply placing them
on reserve. We also work with the practice test in the AAMC MCAT
Student Manual, and the passages contained in the AAMC Practice
Items booklets. Three complete MCATs are taken in class, and three
are taken at home. In addition, supplementary practice materials
of high quality are made available on-line.*
Your textbooks will include all 5 volumes of ExamKrackers MCAT
Complete Study Package which contains
1,088 pages of clear and concise explanations of MCAT science
concepts and formulas. A full length MCAT and 31 thirty-minute
practice tests, all with fully explained answers, are also included.
On
a website
devoted exclusively to your MCAT class, information
will be posted which expands upon topics brought up in class,
during extra help, or by email. Links to websites that do a particularly
good job at clarifying hard to grasp issues will be posted. And
should you miss a class, material handed out in class will be
available for download.
*Supplementary
practice materials are available on-line at your MCAT class website.
They include a full length MCAT, 15 practice sets covering all
areas of the exam, and over seven MCATs worth of high quality
verbal reasoning passages. Solutions are provided for all supplementary
tests.
What
do we do in class?
From
10:30 AM till 1:00 PM we review science. Then
we break for lunch.
From
2:30 PM till 6:00 PM (with a few breaks) we take practice tests
and interpret and analyze MCAT passages. A
Syllabus
will be posted here and on your class website.
What
do we do during extra help?
Anything
that will help you to improve your test taking ablities. Extra
help is individualized to your needs.
What's
the class size?
The
expected class size is 12 students.
The maximum size will be limited to 15.
